Hér er t.d. dæmi um ruslpóst sem ætlað er að fá þig til að bregðast við því að einhver sé að nota fyrirtækisnafn eða vörumerki þér viðkomandi. Svarir þú bréfinu færðu boð um að viðkomandi nafn sé skráð í kínverska lénaskráningu gegn umtalsverðri þóknun. Lærdómurinn: Ef þú þekkir ekki viðkomandi þá þarftu að ganga úr skugga um að ekki sé verið að gabba þig.
