Lengi hafa verið í gangi á Netinu svokölluð 411-svindl frá Nígeríu þar sem viðtakanda er boðið að þvætta fé sem síðan er einungis aðgerð til að fá viðtakandann til að greiða ýmis ,,gjöld" til að koma meintum verknaði í kring. Platið gengur svo eingöngu út á það að svindlarinn plokkar móttakandann um þessi gjöld og lætur sig síðan hverfa.
Reikna má með að sama gildi um þetta nýja svindl og eru netnotendur eindregið varaðir við að
taka nokkuð mark á þeim gylliboðum sem berast í óumbeðnum fjöldapósti.
